Celebrate books, reading and the Tricentennial!

The 2017 New Orleans Book Festival will kick off the city’s official Tricentennial celebration. In addition to readings, panels, and activities, this year’s festival will feature a special performance by the Louisiana Philharmonic Orchestra and a fireworks show. The free festival begins at 1 p.m. on Saturday, November 11, 2017 at Big Lake in City Park. The concert starts at 5:30 p.m. and concludes with a fireworks show at 7 p.m.
