Mrs. Heather’s Pumpkin & Strawberry Patch

Best Picking: Now through the end of May
Strawberry season is nearing a close, but Mrs. Heather’s still has berries available. Visit their website or  Facebook page for opening dates and times, as they change over the season due to the ripeness of the berries.

Picayune Blueberry Farm

Best Picking: Currently open for blackberry picking. Blueberries should be ripe this weekend!
Opened in 1987, they now have 55 acres with 13 acres of 14 variations of blueberries, and a few sheep and cattle. Visit their Facebook page for updates. The farm is open Mondays through Saturdays, 7 am-7 pm, after 4 pm by phone appointment and Sundays, 1-5 pm, by phone appointment.

3D Blueberry Farm

Opening: May 16 or  May 22
Opening day will depend on the ripeness of the blueberries.

This family run “You Pick ’em Farm” provides a family oriented atmosphere. It’s a special place where you can enjoy yourself while collecting some delicious, healthy berries to last you the whole year long. Visit their Facebook page for updates. The farm will be open Wednesdays, Saturdays, and Sundays, 7 am-4 pm.

Ridemore Blueberry Farm

Opening: mid-May. Sign-up to receive their newsletter for alerts on when the berries are ready to pick.
A “U-pick” berry farm with a family environment where you can come out and pick ripe berries right off the bush. You can even taste the berries as you pick them to make sure they are the best you have ever had! Also grown are local honey, blackberries, figs, and vegetables of various types. The farm will be open Tuesdays and Saturdays. Visit their website for times.

Loblolly Ridge Farm

Opening: The farm is scheduled to open Memorial Day weekend, pending COVID-19 restrictions.
Enjoy two manicured acres of blueberries (1,200 plants) featuring six varieties to assure sweetness throughout the picking season. Also offered is a shaded picnic area for those that may need to take a break from the heat. Visit their website for updates on when the farm will be open to visitors.

Blue Harvest Farms

Starting in 2020, Blue Harvest Farms will no longer be a public “U-pick” blueberry farm. They now operate as a membership-based Blueberry farm. Members still have the ability to pick their own blueberries. Due to downsized fields, Blue Harvest Farms can no longer handle large crowds.

Sunhillow Berry Farm

Opening: Coming soon. Historically, the farm has opened around Memorial Day.
Sunhillow is a pick your own blueberry farm. They work off the “honor” system and you pay for what you take, including eat off the bush! Visit their Facebook page for updates on when they expect the berries to be ripe enough to open.

L & E Blueberry Farm, LLC

With over 3000 blueberry trees, L & E Blueberry Farm has plenty of berries for everyone! Here, you can pick your own berries or call them for pick-up orders. They will be open 7 days a week from dawn till dusk (once the season opens). Check their Facebook page for updates.
