Join the City of New Orleans as it celebrates Martin Luther King, Jr. at the historic Al Davis Park from 9 am–10 am.

In honor of Martin Luther King, Jr.’s birthday, admission will be FREE on Monday, January 15, sponsored by Target. Enjoy special story times and guest performances in honor of Martin Luther King, Jr. on what would have been his 89th birthday. 9:30 am–4:30 pm

Celebrate Martin Luther King, Jr. with a community block party from noon-4 pm. This event is part of the 2018 Tricentennial Celebration.

Ogden Museum of Southern Art: Martin Luther King, Jr. Day at the Museum

In honor of Martin Luther King Jr. Day, the Ogden Museum of Southern Art is hosting a FREE admission day for visitors of all ages! Spend your day at the O making crafts, listening to music, eating food, participating in a scavenger hunt, and after hours, practicing yoga with Mark Berger and Kim Doley! The day’s programming is inspired by Solidary & Solitary: The Joyner/Giuffrida Collection, Presented by The Helis Foundation.
