Family Life, Things To Do

Get Crowned at Prom to Support Cancer Research

Relive your prom, or do-over a bad prom experience, while supporting breast cancer research.

Join Krewe de Pink this weekend to show support for breast cancer research, honor a loved one, or celebrate being a survivor at this one-of-a-kind event. Show up in pink attire and dance the night away to live music from LaCoste, take prom photos, bid on silent auction items, and purchase raffle tickets — you might be crowned king or queen of the prom.

PROM KING AND QUEEN
King and Queen will be randomly drawn from a raffle sold during the event — $5/ticket or 5 for $25. The more tickets you buy, the better chance your nominee has to win.

ATTIRE
Dress to impress in full-blown formal gowns and tuxedos or a pink dress or suit adorned in pink accessories. Or maybe you don’t have formal attire — no problem — just dress in pink, be creative, and have a great time.

BYOB/BYOF
Bring your own booze and bring your own food, or eat before arriving or have pizza delivered to your table. Don’t forget to bring a few bottles of good wine, champagne, or your favorite spirit.

PROM PICTURES
Individual, couples, or groups — there will be an opportunity to take professional prom pictures just like you remember.

Krewe de Pink Prom proceeds benefit breast cancer research at Tulane Cancer Center. Must be 21 years of age or older to participate. Get tickets here
