Audubon Nature Institute: Mardi Gras Camp – Zoo

February 14th – 16th
Ages: Pre-K – 4th Grade
Time: 9 am-3 pm
Fee: Members $40; Non-Members $50 (before care: $7; aftercare: $10)

Details: A school break is a great way to spend time outdoors. Audubon Zoo will host Mardi Gras camp for First through Fourth graders. Each day is full of animal exploration, scientific investigation, arts and crafts, and more! Click here for more information.

Structured activities will be held from 9 am-3 pm. Campers will second line through Mardi Gras with Arts & Crafts, Movies, Games, Sports, Outdoor Activities, a Library Activity and much more Fun! Please bring a lunch, snacks, and beverages daily.

Mini Art Center Day Camps are fun 1 day classes that focus on a theme or project. In each class campers learn new art making skills while creating an artwork to be taken home at the end of  the day! Each camp includes materials, snack, and water. Campers bring their lunch 🙂 Mardi Gras Camp theme is Treasure Boxes. Students in this camp will get to use fun materials like felt, paint, sequins, yarn, and glitter galore to create a personal treasure box. Upturn Arts: Mardi Gras Redeaux!

Details: Mardi Gras Redeaux! Young artists will repurpose parade throws into one-of-a-kind creations and choreograph original dances. Local bartenders of the Barman’s Fund will craft healthy drinks with our campers, sharing techniques for juicing, muddling, and artistic garnishes.
