There is so much to do each Fall in NOLA, festival fun alone can fill up your weekend- here is what’s happening this weekend!

Alligator Festival
West Bank Bridge Park, 13855 River Rd., Luling 
Thursday 6-9pm; Friday 6-11pm; Sat 11-11pm; Sun 11-9pm
Admission is free. Cost of wristbands varies by day.
The annual festival celebrating all things alligator. Play with baby alligators, shop the arts and crafts mall, enjoy cajun cuisine and lots of exciting carnival rides, and listen to great live music.
Fried Chicken Festival
Woldenberg Park, 1 Canal Street New Orleans
Saturday 11a-9p; Sunday 11a-8p
Admission is free
The Fried Chicken Festival  is a festival that brings food, music, family and festivities together in celebration of the classic Southern dish. Attractions include two music stages and a celebrity cooking demo stage. 
Ascension Hot Air Balloon Festival
Lamar-Dixon Center, 9039 St. Landry Road, Gonzales
Admission is $5.00 for adults, free for children under 6.
This two day festival consists of hot air balloon glows, live entertainment, a classic car show, barbecue competition, great food, nightly fireworks shows, carnival rides and plenty of fun activities for children of all ages!
