On Saturday, August 25, the Louisiana Children’s Museum will open its big blue doors for its annual CHAIRish the Children auction and gala.  This year will be LCM’s last CHAIRish the Children on Julia Street, so, appropriately, the theme for this year is “Thanks for the Memories.” Don the museum’s colors of red, blue, and yellow and reminisce about the nearly 32 years of making happy memories on Julia Street with an evening of fine food and spirits, exclusive auction packages, entertainment from the Jenn Howard Band, a complimentary photo booth, and more!

The centerpieces of CHAIRish the Children are one-of-a-kind, whimsical chairs created by local artists. Some of this year’s artists include Dr. Bob, Raine Bedsole, E. Lee Jahncke, Shannon Kelley, Nadia Ramadan, and Simon of New Orleans.  In addition to incredible auction packages and custom chairs, CHAIRish the Children will also feature a raffle for a $2,500 Lee Michaels Jewelry shopping spree!
