nola family magazine (and its parent company, Fleur De Lis Publishing) was started by owner and local mom, Ann Herren, in 2006, shortly after Hurricane Katrina. We are proud to be locally founded with our content coming from our own city- New Orleans! We are especially proud of our national recognition and awards for our editorial and design, and to know that we are providing valuable and entertaining parenting information to our local parenting community, of which we (all) at nola family are a part. Our magazine is a FREE, glossy, full color, 8-issues per year parenting resource that is locally written, with you, as a local parent, in mind. We welcome suggestions and ideas on what you as a reader would like to hear about! You can pick it up around town, or read it online ( check out our home page).
