5 Sports Kids Can Continue Practicing At Home

May 4, 2020

Sports play a vital role in the lives of many kids.

It is their way to channel frustration and energy, learn the importance of both success and failure, and to come together as part of a team.

With the sudden ending of extracurricular and organized sports, we know that kids are looking for ways to continue practice their chosen sport (or sports). So, we’ve put together a list of five sports that can be practiced at home while maintaining social distancing.

Karate

Church’s Karate Academy provides daily powerful character trait videos geared towards kids and teens of all ages. Each video is 1-2 minutes long and covers a variety of topics such as patience, respect, confidence, and more. Click here to view the first video in the series.

Virtual group and private Zoom karate classes for all CKA students will continue throughout the summer. New students — sign-up today and receive 2 weeks free! This includes one 30 minute orientation, up to three 30 minute group zoom lessons per week (6 times to choose from), and two 15 minute private zoom lessons per week. To schedule your new student orientations and new student specific classes, click here to view the scheduler.

Also available from CKA, 10 free pre-recorded virtual karate class series for beginners and Parkour classes.

Practice With Them

YouTube that can help you coach your child as they practice at home. It’s a great way to connect with them on a whole new level!
