It aims to break down social barriers that often confine young girls, encouraging them to step out of the box and seize their limitless potential. When girls sell a package of cookies, they are not just exchanging a delightful box; they are creating a pathway to a more equitable future for themselves and the world.

Every box of cookies sold plays a pivotal role in funding invaluable experiences for Girl Scouts, ranging from service projects to troop travel and summer camps. The entrepreneurial prowess of nearly 700,000 participating girls in the Girl Scout Cookie Program builds courage, confidence, and character, and equips them with transferable life skills for a barrier-breaking future.

The Girl Scout Cookie season in southeast Louisiana will run from January 19 through March 24, offering ample time to savor and share these delectable treats.
