To help address the concerns of parents, caregivers, teachers, and school staff, Ochsner Hospital for Children is offering a free 5-part webinar series entitled “Caregiving and COVID-19” Monday, July 27 thru Friday, July 31 from noon-1 pm each day.

Each day of this 5-part series will be geared to a specific developmental level – see below for full schedule and links to register.

Dr. Jill West, Licensed Clinical and School Psychologist, and Dr. Lacey Seymour, Program Director of the Michael R. Boh Center for Child Development, will discuss developmentally appropriate ways to talk to youth about COVID-19. Attendees will hear ideas on how to guide adolescents through ongoing uncertainty, while learning strategies to help with the anxieties and fears that accompany COVID-19 and related stressors.
