St. Martin’s Episcopal Church

Where: St Martin’s, 2216 Metairie Rd., Metairie

When: Starting Oct. 1– 31 , Mon – Fri, 2 – 6:30 pm (dark), Sat & Sun 10 – 6:30 (dark)


Pumpkins of all sizes. Proceeds from the patch benefit St. Martin’s Episcopal Church with  donations made to STAIR Tutoring Program.

Come out and pick your perfect pumpkin, and get photographed for free during the food drive benefiting the Second Harvest Food Bank of New Orleans and Acadiana at the St. Martin’s Episcopal Church Pumpkin Patch. While monetary donations or donations of non-perishable food items will be gladly accepted, they are not required to receive a photograph. Local photographers Marianne Hawkins Sabrier and her partner, Steve Sabrier will be on hand to create free commemorative photos of children and families during their visit. The participants’ photos will be inset into a Halloween themed template and delivered via email.Photographs will be taken October 10th and 11th from 3:00pm until 6:00pm and on October 12th from 11:00am until 3:00pm.

St. Augustine’s Episcopal Church

Where: The patch is behind the church, at 3413 Greenacres Rd.

When: Oct. 10 – 31 or until pumpkins are gone. 12 – 8 pm.

First Presbyterian Church

Where: 5401 S. Clairborne Ave. (corner of S. Clairborne and Octavia).

When: Starting Saturday, Oct.4 – 28 or when sold out, Mon – Fri, 3 pm – dusk. Sat, 10 am – dusk. Sun, 1 pm – dusk. Costume & Movie Night Oct. 25, 4:40-7 pm, $5 per person for refreshments (hot dogs, popcorn, etc.) Special celebrity judges Elsa and Rapunzel from Kellie’s Characters available for photos.  Movie showing, Wizard of Oz

Boo Carre Halloween and Harvest Festival

Enjoy Halloween French Quarter-style with live music, a petting zoo, miniature golf, photo booth, and take-home Halloween crafts (appropriate for ages 2 – 10 years old). Operation Pumpkin

Surgeons create hand-carved Jack-o-Lanterns with proceeds benefiting Children’s Hospital. Trick or treating in the shops, pumpkin decorating, mask making. Plain and carved pumpkins available for purchase.

LSU AgCenter Botanic Gardens at Burden

Perrilloux Farms Pumpkin Farm & Hayride

Blackwater United Methodist Church

When: Oct. 6 – 30. Mon – Fri, 10 – 7 pm, Sat., 10am – 5pm. Sun. 1-5pm

Where: 10000 Blackwater Rd, Baker, LA (near Baton Rouge)

Pumpkin patch, already gathered from the field. Oct. 25 free Car Show, 10am – 2pm. Oct. 25 Craft Show, 8am – 4pm. All proceeds from the sale of pumpkins go to missions that transform the Central Community and the world for Jesus Christ.

St. Anselm Catholic Church

When: Daily starting Oct. 11, 9am – 6pm until pumpkins are gone.

St. Peter Catholic Church Pumpkin Patch

When: Oct. 16 through Oct. 31. 9 am until dark

Where: 125 S. Jefferson Avenue, Covington, LA

Large selection of pumpkins of all sizes, even pie pumpkins, swan gourds, Indian corn, cornstalks. Take your picture with a scarecrow on bales of hay. Weekends activities include storytelling, face painting, raffles.

First United Methodist Church
