Hosanna’s Annual Trunk or Treat

Join for another year of Trunk or Treat! This event is always so much fun! This year there will be games, food and a photo booth opportunity along with, of course, Trunk or Treating!

Peek-a-Boo at the Zoo Presented by Chick-fil-A New Orleans
Audubon Zoo
October 20-24, 10 am-5 pm
Benefitting Audubon Zoo and Children’s Hospital New Orleans, Peek-a-Boo at the Zoo will provide fun for the whole family and some of the Zoo’s animals too, ensuring that guests create spooktacular memories. Peek-a-Boo at the Zoo guests are invited to wear their favorite costume as they partake in the festivities, including trick-or-treat stations located throughout the Zoo on Saturday and Sunday. Complimentary for Audubon Members and included in general Zoo admission as Halloween lagniappe. There is no additional ticket or fee for this experience. All guests MUST purchase tickets in advance online for a specific date and entry time; Audubon Members must reserve their complimentary tickets online in advanced as well.

Kids Halloween Theme Bingo Night

Come in your favorite costume & enjoy a night of bingo games & fun! $35 includes: 10 rounds of bingo w/ prizes, costume contest, face painting, food, snacks, and prizes. Sibling discount available. Pre-registration is highly suggested.

Coquille Barks: Halloweenie
Coquille Parks & Recreation/Recreation District 14

The 2nd annual Coquille Barks event’s theme is “Halloweenie,” so make sure to dress up your furry friend and bring them out to have some fun! The event will be held in the Grove area and features plenty of vendors as well as dogs available for adoption through the Northshore Humane Society. Free admission.

Aetna Presents Drive Thru Trick-Or-Treating with ASGNO
Belle Chasse Elementary, 539 F. Edward Herbert Blvd., Belle Chasse
October 23, 10 am-1 pm
This FREE event, thanks to a generous donation by Zuheily Lemoine). Participants will remain in their vehicles and drive through the trick-or-treat path to collect treats from booth partners. They will provide both edible candy treats as well as inedible options for participants with dietary restrictions. GM Photography & Graphics will be set up at the end of the trick-or-treat path to take free family Halloween pictures.

Boo Carré Halloween Haunt

The day will feature trick-or-treating, live music, and kid’s activities! Costumes recommended for kid’s and highly encouraged for everyone else! Free and open to the public.

A Baldwin Trunk or Treat – The Black Cat
Baldwin Motors
October 23, 11 am-3 pm
This is a family and pet-friendly function will benefit Big Sky Ranch and is themed “Black Cat” because sadly these are one of the least likely colors to be adopted. So, let’s celebrate them! There will be trick or treating, pet adoption, food, music, picture station, games, costume & trunk decorating contests, and more!

Nightmare On Columbia Stroll, Costume Contest, & Concert
Downtown Covington
October 23, 5-9:30 pm
Stroll downtown Covington while enjoying craft cocktails and craft beer samples. End the night with a free public concert at the Covington Trailhead. $30/person.

Krewe of Boo Parade
Featuring floats of world-renowned Kern Studios, the parade’s beautifully horrific props and sculptures combine the magnitude of Mardi Gras with the macabre theatrics of All Hallow’s Eve. The parade starts at 6:30 pm. Get the official parade route here.

LPO’s Halloween Spooktacular Family Concert
New Orleans City Park Reunion Shelter, 4 Friedrichs Ave.
October 30, 11 am 
The performance will include some of your spooky favorites like Night on Bald Mountain and music of Harry Potter, in addition to a musical version of The Legends of Sleepy Hollow. Featuring David Torns, conductor, and Alex Martinez Wallace, narrator.
