St. Andrew’s Episcopal School

St. Andrew’s Episcopal School is the oldest Episcopal school in New Orleans with 63 years of experience in educating the mind, body and spirit of young children.

St. Andrew’s enrolls boys and girls 12 months through Grade 8, offering fourteen years of nurturing yet challenging education that focuses on Cherishing Childhood, Developing Character, and Cultivating Leaders.   St. Andrew’s offers an environment in which children develop confidence, achieve academic success, and embrace a lifelong love of learning. St. Andrew’s is unique not only for its intimate size – we are especially proud of our student-to-teacher ratio of 5-to-1 – but also for creating an educational environment in which every child is known and loved by experienced faculty and staff.  At St. Andrew’s we celebrate the remarkable growth that occurs during the formative years from 12 months to age 14, and we strive to build on each child’s individual strengths, interests and abilities while fostering teamwork within the greater School community.

St. Andrew’s utilizes small classes to promote a challenging learning environment where students interact with teachers and grow spiritually, socially and intellectually. A strong academic program, enhanced by state-of-the-art technology, includes Spanish, music, chapel, fine arts, athletics and information literacy skills. Student publications, dramatics, interscholastic sports, and community service round out St. Andrew’s program.

While we wish we were walking you around campus, we hope this tour gives you a sense of our school community.
